Immigrant communities are struggling with the policies of the new administration. To learn how you can help, please join us for the Metrowest Immigration Forum: A Call to Action. It takes place Saturday, April 29 from 12- 2 p.m. at Heritage at Framingham, 747 Water St. in Framingham.

The forum brings together grassroots organizations, political activists, and concerned citizens to address two key questions:
What’s going on in immigrant communities as they struggle to cope with the policies of the new administration?
What can individuals do to help?
Presenters include:
Josh Zakim — Boston city councilor, social justice activist, and strong advocate for the underserved and disempowered
Marion Davis —director of communications for MIRA, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition
Elena Noureddine — an attorney with PAIR, the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project
A representative of the Civil Rights Division, Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office
Moderator: Wade Blackman, aide to U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark
Organizers: The event is being organized by the Natick, Framingham, Sudbury, Hudson, Holliston, Ashland, and Wayland Democratic Town Committees.
